Unlike a lot of western countries, here in Pakistan we do not have a single stylist/blogger or celebrity talking about daily styling. As most of the western style inspiration does not apply to us girls her in Pakistan we are often left to our own devices or turn to the small screen dramas for inspiration.
However Jahanara who is the Chief Editor and Muse for our Blog Tvinkal does a twice weekly Style diary where she talks about what she wore and how she styled it. She believes that because of our own unique climate, culture and trends most of the makeup and styling tips we find on the International Beauty and Fashion blogs do not pertain to us.
Hence she always makes an effort to write about dressing casually and formally and names all brands for further assistance. Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
