Style Diaries: Second Day Eid
The second day of Eid I had an intimate Family Dinner at Aylanto and so I decided to ditch the Kurta Shalwar and wear a beautiful mid length Black Shift from Daman.
Daman by the way is fast becoming a favorite Brand of mine because they work on the silhouettes of their clothes which is everything in pret.
Anyway I donned a pair of Black mid-calf tights with the shift with lace edging that I picked up from one of my trips abroad. To give the black a break I wore it with a pair of gorgeous Candy Pink Stilettoes from Mango. I however did not want a matching Pink clutch as I wanted my look to be very classy so went with a black clutch from Aldo instead.
However to keep the Shoe color from popping up as strange without any overall connection but still keeping them as the focal point I painted my nails and lips the exact same shade of the shoe. It perked up the black, tied in the Pink and still came across as understated glamor keeping my shoes and shift as the basic focal point in the entire ensemble.
Girls please note that accessorizing is an art and must be given proper thought to be pulled off with aplomb. I stacked my fingers with rings and wore a gold cuff in the same shade of gold as the chain of my clutck and my eyeshade to complete the look.
