Well its post Eid Ul Azha and a lot of us are still enjoying belated Barbecues parties which of course is half the fun!
But when the hostess has leftover barbecued or roasted meat a recycled meal needs inspiration and today we got some for you!
I took left over mutton and made delicious lunch out of them and you can too by following the steps below
Ingredients:
Leftover Meat (shredded) preferably mutton or Beef but you can try chicken too
Be creative with veggies you have. I added Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Bell peppers, Olives but you can add Onions, Mushrooms or even a little Spinach if you like!
Mediterranean is what I used, French or Parmesan or any fancier version of the basic bread will work.
Cheese for Garnishing
Method:
Gently reheat the meat ensuring that you add enough water to keep it soft. Shred it and put on top of slightly buttered (optional) bread. Add the veggies ensuring the bread slices are evenly covered. Garnish with cheese and bake in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes till cheese melts and has a warm hue to it.
Serve Immediately with Chips, Sautéed Veggies or a healthy green salad.
