A Healthy Appetizer!
I totally love fruit. Not a fan of veggies and never eat salad (sigh) but I’m a total fruit junkie with Watermelons being on top of my list followed closely by mangoes and cherries J
Summer in Pakistan is a treat for a fruit nut like me (Yes I seriously wrote that cheesy Ahem Fruity line!)
Anyhow like crazy I hog on fruit and smoothies through the hot summer months. The only downer is that fruit makes me hungry for some reason. Medically I know having fruit after a meal isn’t a good idea and since it makes me hungry I’ve started having fruit as an appetizer or as a snack before lunch or dinner so I don’t over eat.
Now I’ve seriously started serving fruit as an appetizer also when I am hosting a dinner and my guests are super happy!
One the fruit platters look colorful and amazing. I mean the variety of fruit is such that it looks super Colorful and gorgeous.
Two most of the or all of the diet conscious people can still have fruit even on various kinds of restrictive diets so it’s a win win for the guests and for me as a hostess.
Three and most important fruit is super healthy and nothing can beat that!
