Everyone knows Taher Khan.
He is one of the earliest leading names in Pakistani Advertising, Marketing and Media.
Having founded the iconic Interflow Advertising in 1983 the group now comprises of Real Estate Ventures, Health Care, TV Channels, Radio and partner ships in other media Giants like Ogilvy Pakistan and Group M Pakistan.
Taher is a soft spoken man with a dry sense of humor and a very keen intellect.
An easy conversationalist, his scope of interests range from Business to Politics to Social Issues and Spirituality. Despite his enormous success there is no hint of prejudice in Taher’s opinions or manners. On the contrary he has a very keen awareness of the social, cultural and moral plight of the contemporary young adult trying to find their way in our Brave New Pakistan.
To that end he is a patron of several youth and cultural Organizations along with being a trustee of The Fatmid Foundation and a Patron of the Cancer Society.
It was enlightening to catch up with Taher. I personally believe its most necessary for the privileged who wield power to have an understanding and the will to do something for the less fortunate in our society and after a meet up with Taher Khan, I was satisfied that there are those who understand their social and moral obligations and follow them through!
