Everywhere you turn you will see a banner that proclaims that JPNA2 is doing phenomenal business. It’s the funniest and the greatest hit this year and blah.
Is that the truth?
Well for one Fahad Mustafa, Humayun Saeed, Omar Shahzad and Sarwat Gillani are eye candy to beat all eye candy!
Ahmad Ali Butt is so funny in the movie in his new Avatar that it ceases to be funny and leaves you in awe of him!
The sound track is perfect! Tilley wale jooti is a song that you will play on repeat and wont be able to get enough of! Lahore terrey te and Behka re are equally upbeat and mesmerizing. You just cant fault the music!
But that’s about it. The jokes are old. The move technically very unsound. A screen play is nonexistent. There is no character development and the entire movie leaves you with the impression that it’s a rushed job that got botched. The expectation bracket from Pakistani Movies is now very high and no one wants to see a substandard movie. Frankly this was paisa wasool only because of the songs and the beautiful locations. Otherwise all it got is a free ride on the ticket of its prequels success. Surely the worst of the three Eid Ul Azha Releases.
Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
