Jason Statham is the ultimate bad guy this movie buff adores. To me he is the Maula Jutt of Hollywood!!!
So why would I not go see Meg. It’s been a long time I saw a movie this good regarding Sharks actually since the original Jaws which I still dimly remember seeing in the Cinema all those decades ago!
Anyhow the plot isn’t as thin as we would expect from a movie like this and it’s done especially good on the International Circuit. Jason who enacts the one guy in the world who dips the deepest beyond the ocean floor has persisted in maintaining his iconic status by being the ultimate hero and savior.
A few major flaws we can count
Well for one the absence of character development.
Second a thin plot which isn’t a thin as some other good flicks but more attention to screen play would have made this a memorable movie
And third the inability to actually build up the hidden thought extinct species which is the major protagonist here. I mean we had a major Jurassic Age hero here of the same epic proportions as the T Rex and the Raptors of the Jurassic Park Series. But we never gave the poor fish its due….
The effects and the hard action makes up for most inconsistencies though. So watch it if you think Stratham is the man like I think!
