Sherdil A Review

I had my eyes on Sherdil for some time. I mean in the present Indo Paki Situation and then what with this being March all my Patriotism is at the forefront and watching the very exciting Sherdil teaser had put this movie on my radar.

Also Mikaal Zulfiqar has a silver screen presence that I at least cannot ignore. I mean the man just exudes charisma!

So the first day first show saw me all geared up to see the flick and I’m pretty happy with what I saw!

You know I never write down a plot during the review but I’d like to mention here that the first half of the movie is brilliant with the cadet life being portrayed exceptionally well and the passing out scene was Goosebumps worthy. The light hearted comedy was a well-planned move that counter played the very serious and dramatic second half. The chemistry between Armeena and Mikaal is smoking hot and I enjoyed all the songs with the Mehndi song being my fav in the movie.

The second half moves on to the more serious patriotism theme and I got to say that the dog fight sequence is the best graphic work I’ve seen in a Paki movie so far.

From the light hearted comedy moments to the nail biting enemy encounters the movie has all the essentials we need to see right now in a movie.

You would go in the theatre expecting a patriotic flick and come out feeling that you got a total paisa wasool experience!

We think this is the perfect Spring Release and is bound to keep the crowds coming to the theatre!

Mikaal was nothing short of dazzling in the movie and Sherdil just goes to prove how versatile his talent and how powerful his screen presence is.

We rate this movie a 4 over 5.
