If you ask me to tell you about me I would say that first and foremost I am a mom and then yes I am
a daughter a sister and a very proud puphoo to a very naughty group of Pathan brats!
And like 99 percent of all PakistaniWomen my life too is all about my close knit and ever demanding
family.
However life always comes with strange twists and turns and a myriad of tangles that are
unimaginable and yet we live past them and continue on with the journey.
Mine has been just like that too. Improbable and inconceivable if my 16 year old self would ever be
told of what was coming for her.
But strangely satisfying and quite quite happy to my 42 year old self even
though it is way different from our definitions of the normal.
Having embraced the uncertainty that is life I can only say that I have and still am immensely
enjoying my journey with all the joys and heartaches that come along.
So here’s to Life and Motherhood and Pakistani womanhood Pakistani Womanhood! May we all rejoice in our journeys!
Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
